In a complete revamp with a balance of new energy and vast experience in the organization’s working, the Delhi Congress under Devender Yadav’s leadership has overhauled the Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) with the appointment of new vice-presidents and general secretaries.
The Pradesh Congress Committee has been announced following the approval from the All India Congress Committee (AICC), and Mallikarjun Kharge.

Yadav expressed confidence in the committee with the people having brought on board based on their ground work, performance, capabilities and dedication.
He stated that the interval was pretty long, although the committee now includes youth, women, minorities, and experienced members, and expressed confidence that these are the colleagues who have been fulfilling the work assigned to them and have worked for the organization under tough scenarios for the past two years, who have strengthened the party on ground.
Stating that the new office bearers have been given an opportunity, Yadav expressed hope that in times to come their will work even harder to win the hearts of the people of the national capital.
He said the newly-appointed office-bearers were a mix of senior, experienced leaders, youth, women and leaders and workers covering all sections of society, including minorities, and from the SCs, who were capable of strengthening the party.
Yadav said that the party has already gained strength with the appointment of new District and Block presidents, Parliament, Assembly and District observers and the formation of Mandalams and Sectors, and carry forward them momentum to make a strong presence.
Across more than 13637 booths in the city, the Congress will have a party representative who will reach out to the public.
The Delhi Congress chief further said that all checks and balances were in place while deciding on the new office bearers of the state unit, following a rigorous process.
The state unit is very clear in its priorities, and as per the president, the public outreach efforts will now be multiplied to another level, and the party is going to surge its efforts to highlight public issues so they can be addressed.
Addressing the newly-appointed on Thursday, Yadav said along with responsibility, there should also be accountability and that only the party can be hoisted on a strong pedestal in the national capital.
